Welcome to Sweet Haven, my declaration of freedom from sexual abuse!

My name is Jen and Sweet Haven is my site for those dealing with the issues of past and present abuse, sexual, emotional, and physical. Sweet Haven is a safe place offering support, encouragement, and information for those that are hurting.

Everyday on the news I hear of a new case where a child has been sexually abused by a person and how the person is prosecuted. After the case has been brought to the attention of everyone in society I do not hear anything more about the child. The child is often silent or has been made to go silent because of the victimization of the abuse. I was one of those children. Through God's help and lot's of hard work I have found my voice. I will silent no more! I pray that this site will help you to find your voice in what is often a very silent situation.

Take a moment to read my testimony. There you will find that I have been victimized in two different ways. First, as a child I was sexually abused. Then I went through the nightmare of having someone I love be falsely accused of being an abuser. Like I said, I will let my testimony speak for itself. As a result, I plunged into severe depression, panic attacks and suffered PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder).

I want this website to be a forceful cry for all the sexual abuse survivors out there to let them all know that this need not happen anymore.

I've added some message boards where we'll be safe to share about what we've been through. It's where we can vent, share our victories, encourage one another and God willing, gain support from others that are going through similar situations.
